The squishy that doesn't shout
Most squishies are built to be seen: neon colours, cartoon faces, glitter, sound. The Squishlotte Original is built to be felt.
It's soft without being floppy. Press it and it stays pressed — squash it flat, pinch it, poke a thumb in — then roll it between your palms and it's a smooth ball again. The surface is silky and cool to the touch, and the filling moves under your fingers in a way foam never does. It's the kind of texture you keep working without really thinking about it — which is exactly the point.
Why we only sell this one
We've tried a lot of squishies. Most of them ended up in a drawer within a week. This one didn't. Charlotte, our resident eight-year-old tester, went back to it every day, and so did her mum — who found it earned a permanent spot on her desk as a way to take the edge off an anxious afternoon.
So rather than sell a bit of everything, we chose to sell the one we'd actually recommend.
A simple tool for busy minds
Many people who live with anxiety, ADHD, sensory processing differences or everyday stress find that having something to do with their hands helps them settle, focus and stay present. Fidget and sensory tools are widely used at home, in classrooms, in counselling and therapy settings, and in workplaces for exactly that reason.
The Squishlotte Original is a good fit for that role because it's quiet, discreet and low-stimulation. It gives your hands something to do without giving your eyes or ears something to react to.
It's not a medical device and it isn't a replacement for professional support. It's a small, well-made object that a lot of people find genuinely helpful. If you're a parent, teacher or practitioner, we'd love it to be part of your toolkit.

Safety & Care (please read)
AGE GUIDANCE: Suitable for children aged 3 years and over. Not suitable for children under 3 — small parts and pieces may present a choking hazard. Children should always be supervised while using this product. Designed for light fidgeting and squeezing only — not for intense squeezing, pulling, biting or chewing.
IMPORTANT WARNINGS
• Not a food item. Do not put in mouth, chew, bite or eat. The filling is petroleum jelly — not edible, whatever the name suggests.
• Check before every use. If the squishy develops a hole, tear, split, crack or leak, or the seam starts to open, throw it away immediately. A damaged squishy can leak its filling and shed small pieces that are a choking hazard.
• It can leak if punctured. The petroleum jelly filling is greasy and will stain fabric, paper and upholstery. If you see any leak, bag it and bin it straight away, and keep it away from clothing, carpet and electronics.
• Keep away from heat. Do not put in the microwave, oven, dishwasher, dryer, or near heaters, stoves, candles or open flames. Do not leave in a hot car or in direct sunlight.
• Keep away from sharp objects. Pens, scissors, fingernails, pet teeth and jewellery can puncture the surface.
• Do not over-stretch, twist, pull apart or dig fingernails into it. It's designed to be squeezed and shaped, not torn. Pulling at the seam will shorten its life.
• Keep away from pets. Dogs in particular will chew and swallow it.
• Do not submerge in water or wash in a washing machine.
• The outer skin is TPR (thermoplastic rubber) and latex-free. Do not use if you have a known sensitivity to TPR.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS
• Wipe clean with a slightly damp cloth and allow to air dry completely.
• Store at room temperature, out of direct sunlight. The clear bag it arrives in is handy for keeping it clean in a school bag or handbag, but you'll want it out of the bag to enjoy the feel.
• It holds whatever shape you leave it in — no warming, cooling or resetting needed. Just squash it back into a ball when you want to start again.
• Keep away from chemicals, solvents and cleaning products other than a mild neutral cleaner.
• How long it lasts depends on how hard it's used. Gentle daily squeezing can see it last for months; enthusiastic squashing, stretching and pinching can wear it out in days. Replace it as soon as the surface, seam or shape starts to break down.

We ship Australia-wide from Sydney with Australia Post, dispatched within 1–2 business days. Every parcel is tracked. Standard: $10.55 (2–6 business days). Express: $13.55 (1–3 business days). One, two or three squishies ship for the same price.
If your squishy arrives damaged or develops a fault under normal use, email sales@squishlotte.com.au with a photo and we'll replace or refund it. Wear from heavy use isn't a fault.
